You will work closely with the EMEA teams located in other countries as well as regional & other COE staff. You will be expected to proactively drive completion of deliverables. What will you be responsible for?
- Supervise a small team to ensure accurate completion of technical accounting for a number of countries across EMEA
- Ensure accurate processing and reporting of expense data to ensure completion of all US GAAP monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Complete and review reconciliations and journal entries
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to Companies Accounting and Operational policies including Balance Sheet and P+L controls are in place
- Summarise results and items affecting the EMEA region in a clear and efficient format
- Maintain US GAAP accounting policies and accounting principles
- Identify and implement improvements and efficiencies in the reporting process

The individual main role will be to support the EMEA Compliance Risk Management Program (CRMP) Specialist / Head of Non Financial Risk Assessment (NFRA) in carrying out oversight of the CRMP/NFRA effectively and on a regular basis prepare, analyze, and generate reports.
What will you be responsible for?
- Assists the EMEA CRMP Specialist in providing support to the local and sub-regional Head of Compliance in: the CRMP management; the transition and implementation of the NFRA in the region to make sure it conforms to the set guidelines and governance
- Creates and/or adapt to the Region various risk assessment tools, guidance, trainings, job aids and communications to the local team
- Supports the implementation, system enhancement, and upgrades of the GRC system as well as the NFRA procedures in the Region as they occur
- Assists in monitoring the ongoing CRMP/NFRA updates on local and regional level and/or verifies the completion in the CRMP software tool in respect of the timelines
- Assists in coordinating the Country Compliance officer in the creation of the Annual Compliance Monitoring & Testing planning
- Monitors and reconciles the plan against the execution of the Testing and Monitoring activities as scheduled on a monthly basis
- Provides administrative support in the GRC system for new laws and regulations, compliance risks, business controls, monitoring & testing, issue management, etc.
- Assists in the preparation and delivery of NFRA/OpenPages System training sessions to the EMEA compliance teams
- Performs other assigned duties and projects as required

Actuary
Delivering various actuarial tasks that may include experience studies, valuation, and projections on a different basis (EV, Solvency II, US GAAP) for MetLife operations on a broad range of product types and projects across the EMEA region.
